We guarantee all information you provide will be kept confidential and under no circumstances
will data or images be allowed to become accessible by anyone outside our business.
Customers who do register with our website (when implemented) should keep their username
and password in a secure place at all times and never divulge them to anyone including staff
at canvascentre.com.au. We will NEVER ask you for your login credentials. We do not require
that customers enter or store any personal information given on our webserver, but any
information that is volunteered is done so at your own risk. Data entered into the website
such as filenames, dimensions, are not encrypted and should not present any security risk.
Personal information such as usernames, first name and last name should also not cause a
risk, but customers can use pseudonyms if this causes concern.
Canvascentre.com.au guarantees that we will never:
- Pass on your financial details
- Pass on any personal information gathered when you place an order
- Sell or rent your details, you will never receive junk mail as a result of using Canvas Centre
- Exploit your details in any way
Financial Transaction Information Security Statement
If a customer chooses to pay over the phone then card details will be typed directly into a
eftpos machine and not recorded electronically. Name, telephone, billing and / or delivery
addresses will be recorded on our local password protected database system and may be used
to contact you in the event of a problem with an order. Customers are advised never to
transmit card details by email.
Our Systems Security Statement
Our web system is password protected and lives on our own, secure, dedicated web server
located at our ISP's data centre. Our systems are firewall protected with hardware (nonwireless)
network routers and IP network packet filtering. Our local business computers are all
password protected and also reside behind hardware and software firewalls. Our Website, web
database, business data systems, imaging prepress
server and RIP server all are backed up
and sourcesafed.
Customer images uploaded to the web server are deemed to be copies of
originals and not backed up. Customer uploaded files are transient and will be deleted after
they have been printed.
